Crossroads earrings

The Crossroads a strong association with Hekate - her epithet 'Einodia' translates to "Of The Crossroads"/"Of The Roads". The Crossroads are the place which her triformis self presides over, and a common place her followers leave offerings on deipnon. It is said you can hear the howling of her dogs where two roads cross.

The 'Crossroads' earrings feature small crosses formed from bones, cast in sterling silver and hung upon hand formed sterling silver earring hooks. These earrings are 5.5cm in length, including earring hooks, and weigh 5.5 grams each.

These earrings have been oxidised to bring out the textured surfaces. Sterling silver may further oxidise over time due to the skins natural oils.
