Cursed earrings

The Blackthorn tree has long been feared and believed to be a tree that brings with it bad omens and curses, but also has a history of being used in protective charms, spells and amulets.

The 'Cursed' earrings feature intricately detailed thorns from the blackthorn tree cast in sterling silver hung upon hand formed sterling silver earring hooks. There are two thorn lengths to choose from - the shorter earrings are 5.5cm in length, and the longer earrings are 7cm long, both lengths are including hooks. The different thorn lengths can be seen side by side in the last photo.

These earrings have been oxidised to bring out the textured surfaces. Sterling silver may further oxidise over time due to the skins natural oils.
