Guardian talisman

English Ivy is a plant rich in myth and folklore. While it often has associations with death and liminal places, it has also long been revered as a plant that brings with it good luck and protection, and is believed to ward off evil spirits and negative energies. It was often planted near homes, as it was believed it could shield and safeguard the inhabitants within.

This talisman has been crafted in sterling silver. The pendant is 5cm wide/long and is hung upon a 60cm sterling silver oval belcher chain.

This necklace has been oxidised to bring out the textured surfaces. Sterling silver may further oxidise over time due to the skins natural oils.
