The 'Prophecy' studs feature intricated detailed carrion crow talons. Crow's have have long had ties to death and the Underworld, but they also have ties to divination and prophecy - the ancient Greeks viewed the crow as a symbol of Apollo in his role as god of prophecy.
The talons, earring posts and back are all made in sterling silver. These studs are 3cm in length, and weight 4g each. Please refer to the last photo to see the size difference between the 'Prophecy' and 'Oracle' studs.
These studs have been oxidised to bring out the textured surfaces. Sterling silver may further oxidise over time due to the skins natural oils.
